Grande crescita per Apple e Google che confermano le previsioni per questo primo trimestre,in ripresa Ebay, Ibm e Yahoo! mentre si registra un lieve calo per Microsoft (da più parti si imputa la causa a Vista),Intel e Nokia rispetto alle previsioni.

A seguito delle molte lamentele ricevute,Matt,il creatore di Messenger Live Discovery,ha deciso di rilasciare un nuova nuova versione,la 1.4.5 che andrà a sostiuire la 1.4 rilasciata solo poche settimane fa. Le modifiche apportate sono le seguenti:
- Fixed window blackening
- Fixed auto updates for some countries
- Installer will now detect and select your language automatically
- MD will now detect and select your language automatically
- Language files must be the latest version or they will not load
- Fixed auto imitate bug
- Fixed crash when closing IM window
- Check for updates can be turned off properly
- Fixed time formatting for contact manager
- Removed advertising from installer
- Removed advertising from MD tray menu
- New uninstaller page
- Can no longer create DP manager categories where the name is just spaces
- !failed command is now available
- Fixed text labels being blank
- Fixed Messenger connect issue if MDL is exited
- Fixed “cannot find loader.exe” error
- Updated Installer Graphics
- Updated ‘about’ website link
- Fixed crash when closing Messenger
